Enel plants are built in compliance with the legal provisions and good practices.
Plants, machinery and equipment are subject to systematic inspections and periodic maintenance in order to guarantee normal operation, in compliance with the law and in accordance with the highest standards.
In order to guarantee the health and safety of the community and reduce the impact on the external environment of the production activities, periodic measurement campaigns are conducted internally. Such efforts include measuring the electromagnetic fields of the distribution systems, as well as the level of noise, vibrations and dust generated by power plant machinery and distribution substations. The following aspects of environmental relevance are also monitored: atmospheric emissions, air quality, pollution of surface water, water quality, production, recycling, reuse and disposal of waste, soil quality, and impacts on biodiversity.
